- Tap the GOALS tab in the upper right.
- Enter a weight higher or lower than your current weight and hit SAVE.
- Change it back to your current weight and hit SAVE again.
If you would like to stop using the app, please click on the “Menu” page and visit “Help”. On this page you will find an option for account deletion.
To account for negative adjustments, log in to the full MyFitnessPal website at www.MyFitnessPal.com and click the main “Settings” tab, then “Diary Settings.” Check the box next to ‘Enable Negative Adjustments’ then click “Save Changes.” If you typically do not sync your device until late in the day, it may be more convenient to leave
Every time you log your weight in our system, MyFitnessPal recalculates and updates your goals.
Most people should log their weight once a week.
If you’ve lost more than 10 pounds since the last time your goals were calculated, it’s likely that we will need to decrease your calorie intake.
A negative calorie adjustment means you’ll use fewer calories on this given day than what is estimated by MyFitnessPal. You can make a negative calorie adjustment in your diary settings, which are found under “My Home,” then “Settings” and finally “Diary Settings.”
If you haven’t been able to log in because the username and password are not working, we recommend resetting your credentials. You can choose to reset your password by tapping the “Forgot Password?” link on the login page or by visiting this webpage:
